CANDLE CARE
To keep your candles lasting for a long time follow these candle care instructions:

-
When you light a candle for the first time, let it burn till the entire surface of the candle melts before you put it out. This prevents tunnelling.
-
For a clean and even burn, trim your candle wick. The recommended wick length should be 0.25 inches. This prevents uneven burning, dripping or flaring.
-
Place the lid back on the candle to put it out. You can blow the candle out, but be careful not to splatter wax.
-
When you have 0.5 inches of wax left in the jar, it's time to retire your candle. You can always clean out the wax and reuse your jar.
-
Always store candles in a cool, dark place. Candles can lose their fragrance or discolour if temperatures fluctuate.
-
Do not let your candle burn for more then 4 hrs as this can cause overheating and loss of fragrance.
-
Avoid windy or drafty areas such as near windows or air vents. This can cause candle sooting or tunnelling due to an uneven burn.
